Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our commitments and policies regarding enrollments and fee structures.

1 General Policy Overview

At Saksham Skills Development Academy, we are committed to providing the highest quality Abacus and Brain Development training. Because our class sizes are strictly limited to ensure individual attention, enrolling a student reserves a seat that cannot be offered to another child.

Therefore, we maintain a strict No Refund Policy once the enrollment is finalized and classes have commenced.

2 Registration & Admission Fees

  • The one-time Registration/Admission Fee paid at the time of joining is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
  • This fee covers the administrative costs of onboarding the student, setting up their portal access, and securing their spot in the appropriate batch.

3 Course Materials & Abacus Tools

  • Fees collected for course materials, including the physical Abacus tool, workbooks, practice sheets, and bags, are non-refundable once the items have been dispatched or handed over to the student/parent.
  • If a student receives damaged or defective materials, we will replace them at no extra cost, provided the issue is reported to the administration within 3 days of receipt.

4 Mid-Term Cancellations

If a student chooses to discontinue the program in the middle of a month or term for which fees have already been paid:

  • No prorated refunds will be issued for the unattended classes.
  • The paid fees cannot be adjusted or transferred to another student, sibling, or friend.
  • Parents must inform the academy at least 15 days prior to the start of the next billing cycle if they intend to withdraw their child, to avoid being billed for the upcoming term.

5 Academy Initiated Cancellations

In the rare event that Saksham Skills Development Academy has to cancel a batch entirely due to unforeseen circumstances or administrative reasons:

  • We will first attempt to accommodate the student in an alternative batch with a mutually agreeable schedule.
  • If no suitable alternative can be found, the academy will issue a prorated refund for the remaining classes that were paid for but not delivered.

6 Exceptions & Special Cases

We understand that genuine emergencies occur. At the sole discretion of the Academy's Director, we may consider adjusting paid fees as a "credit" for future use in cases of severe, documented medical emergencies that prevent the student from attending classes for an extended period.

Any such requests must be made in writing with supporting medical documentation.
